Optimal Allocation of Micro-Grid Energy Storage Capacity Considering Time-of-Use Electricity Price
In order to rationally allocate the capacity of energy storage system in grid-connected microgrid, improve the economy of microgrid and its ability of peak load shifting for large grid, an optimization method of energy storage capacity considering TOU(time-of-use) electricity price was proposed. Take minimize the construction cost and operation cost of microgrid system as the optimization target, a capacity optimization model is established, and an economic dispatching strategy is formulated based on the analysis of historical source load data and TOU price of distribution network. Based on this, the optimal capacity allocation is obtained by particle swarm optimization algorithm. A simulation model was established in Matlab, and a 7-day simulation was carried out based on the capacity configuration before and after considering TOU price. The effectiveness of the optimization method was verified by comparing the two simulation results. The comparison results show that considering TOU price can effectively reduce the operating cost of the system and improve the capacity of peak load shifting.
