Research on Distribution Network Energy Storage System Configuration Under the Background of Photovoltaic Development in the Whole County

Energy storage is the key supporting technology for the large-scale access and consumption of renewable energy distributed generation and the reform of distribution network. This paper studies distribution network energy storage configuration under the background of photovoltaic(PV) development in the whole county. Including voltage fluctuation deterioration degree and PV local consumption rate, the operation evaluation indexes of distribution networks with high penetration PV are constructed. Considering endurance capacity, a practical charging and discharging strategy for energy storage is proposed to restrain the net load fluctuation. A time-series power flow calculation and analysis method for distribution network with PV and energy storage is proposed, and its process is given. Taking the actual distribution network in Minhou county of Fuzhou as an example, the power flow and operation indexes in different PV development stages are calculated to analyze the negative problems, and then the operation optimization effect and economy of different energy storage capacity configuration schemes are analyzed. The calculation example verifies the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed operation indexes, charging and discharging strategy and time-series power flow calculation method. Based on the practical analysis, planning suggestions close to the project are given, which can be used as a reference for the PV development and energy storage configuration.
