2.3. Reviewer Recommendation

Authors could suggest several potential reviewers by providing the names and institutional e-mail addresses. Authors should not suggest reviewers who are colleagues, or who have co-authored or collaborated with you during the last three years. Editors would not invite reviewers who have potential competing interests with the authors.

Note: the editor decides whether or not to invite the reviewers you suggested.

3. Manuscript Preparation

3.1. Language

Please write the text in good Chinese or English. Possible grammatical or spelling errors should be carefully avoided, making the submissions conform to accepted standards of written technical English. The Journals editors are not responsible for correcting errors in grammar or spelling. Manuscripts that require extensive English revision may be rejected without review.

3.2. Length of manuscripts

There are no strict limits on the number of published pages for both research and review articles. Nevertheless, authors are asked to make the manuscript as concise as possible and to limit to less than 20 manuscript pages.

3.3. Article types

Journal Name publishes three types of papers: Review, Research Article, Technical Applications.

Reviews: Comprehensive overviews informing readers of the latest research and frontier advances in energy and power systems.

Research Articles: Original papers reporting comprehensive research developments, emphasizing novelty and theoretical contributions.

Technical Applications: Papers focusing on significant engineering practices, case studies, and the practical implementation of major technologies in the distributed energy sector.

3.4. Text formatting

For submission in Microsoft Word, use a normal, plain font (e.g., 10.5-point Times New Roman), one space line, and two columns for text. Use the automatic page numbering function to number the pages. Do not use field functions. Use tab stops or other commands for indents, not the space bar. Use the table function, not spreadsheets, to make tables. Use the equation editor or MathType for equations. Note: If you use Word 2007, do not create the equations with the default equation editor but use MathType instead.

4. Content and Formatting Requirements

Articles must be scientifically sound, innovative, and practical at an academic level; the arguments must be clear, the data reliable, and the reasoning rigorous. The language should be fluent, the structure clear, logic strong, and terminology standardized. The total length of the manuscript should not exceed 8,000 characters (including the space occupied by charts and graphs). Please click "Submission Guidelines" -> "Paper Format Template" to download the template, which details the content elements and formatting requirements for easy application.

Chinese and English Titles: The title should be simple, appropriate, distinct, and accurate in summarizing the main content of the paper, meeting the requirements of brevity, clarity, retrievability, and specificity.

Chinese and English Author Names and Affiliations (Authors should not exceed 6): The first author should be listed first, followed by others in sequence. The format for the affiliation is: full name of the unit, province/city name, postal code. If multiple authors belong to different units, please provide detailed information for each author, including name, unit name, and postal code.

Chinese and English Abstracts: Please use the third-person perspective. The abstract should be an independent short text containing the main information equivalent to that of the paper and generally include the four elements of purpose, method, results, and conclusion.

Chinese and English Keywords (4-8): These are mainly used for document retrieval. Try to use generic terms that are appropriately broad or narrow in scope and can reflect the characteristics and content requirements of the article.

CLC Number: The CLC number should be classified according to the Chinese Library Classification.

We welcome the indication of provincial or ministerial-level and above fund-supported projects. However, please review this carefully to avoid suspicion of duplicate funding applications. The number of supported projects should not exceed 3, and both the project number and name must be provided.

Introduction: The main content of the introduction should cover the significance of the research, the progress of previous studies, the entry point of this study, and the key problems to be solved.

Quantities, Units, and Charts/Graphs: The uppercase and lowercase, superscripts and subscripts of characters (numbers, Greek, English, Roman) in the text and formulas must be clear. Letters representing vectors and matrices should be in bold. The text, variables, units, and numbers in charts and graphs must be clear. Charts and graphs should have Chinese and English titles and indicate the physical quantities and units of the coordinate axes.

References: Number references in the order of their first appearance in the text, and mark the sequence with square brackets in the upper right corner where they appear in the article. Please cite all references in the main text (do not cite in the title) and arrange them in natural order. Please list the references according to the national standard GB/T 7714-2015 Rules for Content Recording of References after Documents. Examples of reference recording formats can be found in "Submission Guidelines" -> "Reference Recording Format".

Author Biographies: Names of all authors, year of birth, gender, education level, professional title, research direction or field of work. The corresponding author must also provide email and telephone contact information.
