Influence of Concentrating Solar Power on New Energy Consumption of Qinghai Power Grid
The new energy power generation in Qinghai province is mainly composed of photovoltaic and wind power, and it is difficult for load peaking. Concentrating solar power (CSP) is new energy with adjustability. While increasing the proportion of new energy consumption in the system, CSP may have an impact on the consumption of wind power and photovoltaics. This paper takes Qinghai power grid as the research object, analyzes the impact of CSP on the consumption of new energy in Qinghai power grid, and studies how CSP can increase the proportion of new energy consumption in Qinghai power grid without increasing the rate of new energy curtailment. In order to simulate the process of day-to-day regulation, heat storage and heat release of CSP stations, this paper adopts a full-time production simulation program based on mathematical optimization to calculate the system operating state for 8 760 h of full year on a weekly scale, taking into account the unit start-stop, inter-day regulation of hydropower, inter-day regulation of pumped storage, inter-day regulation of solar thermal power plants, etc. The research results can provide a reference for the development and development of CSP in Qinghai power grid.
