Since its establishment in 2016, "Distributed Energy" (English name: Distributed Energy) has always been based on the overall national energy strategy, focusing on the cutting-edge of distributed energy technology, committed to promoting the revolution in energy production and consumption, and serving the construction of the new power system. It has established a good brand image in both the academic and industrial circles and has become a professional journal with significant influence in the energy field in China, especially in the direction of distributed energy. To enhance the development vitality of the "Distributed Energy" journal, improve its academic quality and influence, and at the same time provide a platform for communication and development for outstanding young editors and scholars, we are now publicly recruiting the first youth editorial board across the country.
I. Application Requirements
(1) Be rigorous in academic research, have a proper style, be passionate about the journal industry, and be willing to devote time and wisdom.
(2) Under 45 years old (born after January 1, 1980), with a doctoral degree or a deputy senior professional title or above;
(3) Long-term engagement in scientific research at key universities and research institutions, with high activity in the energy and power-related fields (especially in the distributed energy sector). In the past five years, at least three papers have been published as the first or corresponding author in core academic journals both domestically and internationally within this field. Those who have led national or provincial-level projects or received national or provincial-level awards will be given priority.
(4) Those with relevant experience in journal review, special topic planning, etc., or those who have been outstanding authors, reviewers and made significant contributions to this journal will be given priority.
II. Rights and Benefits of Young Editorial Board Members
After being selected, one will be appointed as a young member of the editorial board of "Distributed Energy" and receive a letter of appointment. The list of young editorial board members will be published on the journal and website under the "Editorial Board" section. The term of appointment is three years for one term. Those who make outstanding contributions may be re-appointed and will be given priority for promotion to the editorial board of this journal.
Annual outstanding contributors will be awarded prizes or honors by the editorial department of this journal.
(3) Priority to participate in academic activities hosted by the editorial department, such as academic exchange meetings and editorial board meetings, etc.
(4) Enjoy the green channel of the editorial department. Each year, the outstanding papers funded by provincial or ministerial-level funds and written by the young editorial board members themselves can be published with priority, and will be given priority for promotion on the official account.
(5) Journals provide a display platform for young editorial board members. Through the journal's WeChat account and website, they introduce young editorial board members and their research achievements and academic accomplishments, making them more familiar to readers and enhancing their academic reputation.
III. Responsibilities of Young Editorial Board Members
During the employment period, at least one high-quality paper as the first author should be published in this journal each year, and at least two excellent papers should be recommended each year.
(2) Actively participate in the submission, solicitation, review and promotion of this journal, and recommend outstanding experts in related fields.
(3) Assist and participate in various academic exchange and interaction activities hosted or co-hosted by this journal;
(4) Offer suggestions and strategies for the development and promotion of this journal, and propose specific measures.
(5) Actively promote and recommend this journal within the academic circle of the relevant field.
IV. Application Method
The selection of the young editorial board members of "Distributed Energy" is conducted through open recruitment and expert recommendation, with the best candidates being chosen. The young editorial board operates a dynamic adjustment mechanism. During the term of office, outstanding scholars will be regularly added based on the development needs of the journal, and corresponding adjustments will be made according to the contributions of the members.
