On March 31, the Inaugural Meeting of the Young Editorial Board of Distributed Energy and its First Working Session were held in Beijing.

The meeting officially announced the establishment of the first Young Editorial Board of Distributed Energy. It was emphasized that young scholars are the most innovative and vital force in the field of energy science and technology, serving as the backbone for disciplinary progress. The journal expressed its sincere hope to work with all experts to deeply explore the journal's positioning, publishing strategies, and development measures. By fully leveraging the role of the Young Editorial Board, the goal is to build Distributed Energy into a top-tier domestic and internationally renowned scientific journal. Meanwhile, the journal is committed to building a high-level academic exchange platform for young editors, growing and advancing together with them.

Zhang Yuanyuan, Director of the Editorial Department of Distributed Energy, delivered a thematic report on behalf of the department. The report covered the journal's basic profile, work progress, the organizational structure of the Young Editorial Board, and its goals and positioning.

The young editorial board members spoke enthusiastically on topics such as publishing guidelines, thematic planning, and journal promotion. They actively offered advice and put forward numerous valuable suggestions. They unanimously expressed their commitment to fulfilling their duties conscientiously and fully supporting the journal's work.

Nearly 30 young editorial board members from prestigious universities and research institutes, along with editorial staff, attended the meeting.

Currently, Distributed Energy has gathered a group of young experts with active thinking, high academic standards, and fruitful research achievements. Taking this meeting as a new starting point, the editorial department will work hand in hand with the experts to accelerate the journal's development and strive to make it a premier publication.
